Below is a step by step guide to SC Protect's Claim process:
- Complete the requirements based on the type of claim you plan to submit
- Once you have all the requirements, send an email to SC Customer Care (customercare@shippingcart.com) so we can forward your report and documents to our Insurance partner (Paramount Life and General Insurance Corporation) via email
- Our Insurance partner (Paramount Life and General Insurance Corporation) will assess your claim request based on the documents submitted within 1 business day. You will be informed directly if your claim request is approved or denied.
- For approved claims - those below Php500K will be settled within 5-10 days, while claims above Php500K will be settled within 10-15 days.
Requirements per Claim type:
Damaged item/shipment
- Completely fill out and sign the SC Protect Claims Declaration form
- Submit photo of your Government Issued ID (e.g. Driver's license, Passport, National ID)
- Submit unboxing video or photographs of the damaged item/shipment (video or photo must clearly show the damage)
- Submit invoice copy of the damaged item/s
- Download a copy of your Bill of Lading on SC app
- Download a copy of your SC invoice on SC app
Lost or Missing item
- Completely fill out and sign the SC Protect Claims Declaration form
- Submit a photo of your Government Issued ID (e.g. Driver's license, Passport, National ID)
- Submit invoice copy of the lost or missing items/shipment
- Download a copy of your Bill of Lading on SC app
- Download a copy of your SC invoice on SC app
Lost or Missing shipment
- Completely fill out and sign the SC Protect Claims Declaration form
- Submit a photo of your Government Issued ID (e.g. Driver's license, Passport, National ID)
- Submit invoice copy of all items in lost or missing shipment
Late delivery
- Completely fill out and sign the SC Protect Claims Declaration form
- Submit a photo of your Government Issued ID (e.g. Driver's license, Passport, National ID)
- Download a copy of your Bill of Lading on SC app
- Download a copy of your SC invoice on SC app
International Return-To-Sender
- Completely fill out and sign the SC Protect Claims Declaration form
- Submit a photo of your Government Issued ID (e.g. Driver's license, Passport, National ID)
- Submit invoice copy of the damaged/wrong item for International return
- Submit photos of the damaged/wrong item for International return
- Submit receipt copy of International shipping fee paid
- Submit copy of International waybill showing tracking number
