How to ship overseas items to your ShippingCart Korea warehouse address?

All shipments arriving in South Korea from overseas require import clearance. For personal shipments, a Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC) is mandatory.

What is a PCCC?
A Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC) is a 13-digit identifier starting with the letter “P” issued by the Korea Customs Service.

It is required for individuals importing personal goods into Korea and is used instead of a Resident Registration Number for customs processing.

You may apply for a PCCC online through the official website of the Korea Customs Service -- https://www.customs.go.kr/english/cm/cntnts/cntntsView.do?mi=10801&cntntsId=5502

You can register using your Resident Registration Number or your passport. Issuance is typically immediate once the application is completed successfully.

If you are unable to obtain a PCCC because you are not residing in Korea, you may use the alternative option below:
  • Use “Jupiter Express C/O” when placing your online store order. Please add “Jupiter Express C/O” before your name in the shipping details and inform the seller to include “Jupiter Express C/O” in the shipment documents.

The seller must indicate “Jupiter Express C/O” on:
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Air Waybill (AWB)

With this arrangement, Jupiter Express will act as the importer of record and a PCCC will no longer be required.

Important Notes:
  • Ensure the shipping documents are correctly prepared to avoid customs delays.
  • Incorrect or missing information may result in clearance issues.
  • Always verify the shipping details before the seller dispatches the item.
  • Confirm with the seller who will be responsible for paying the Korean Customs duties and taxes.
