Oregon Service Advisory: Outbound Processing Update

To our valued ShippingCart customers:

Since we paused package opening on December 8, 2022 PST, we were able to catch up on our backlog in uploading your packages to your cart. The challenge now is for us to pack your shipments as fast as we can so that we can get them to you.

We will be implementing the following change to our outbound procedure so that we can speed up picking and packing your items. This change is effective December 19, 2022 PST until further notice.

We will ship items out individually

  • Your items will be shipped individually so that we can eliminate the process of sorting to further cut down on processing time regardless of how many items you checked out per shipment.
  • We would not be able to ship on a First In, First Out basis so there is a good possibility that you won’t receive your packages in the order that you checked them out and they will also arrive in multiple deliveries.
  • You will see the shipment splits done and their corresponding tracking numbers once in-transit under the shipments tab on our app.

This is where we are right now: We have 19,348 pending items that were checked out as of December 19, 10 AM Philippine local time. With the change in our outbound procedure, we estimate that we will be able to process 1,800 items per day at a minimum. We will update this page daily so you can see our progress until we get this to zero.

Please note that this change only applies to our Oregon warehouse and the rest of our warehouses (UK, Australia, Korea, Japan) will retain existing processes.
