You will need to file an RMA (Return to Merchant Authorization – the terminologies that the stores use may vary) if this is the case. Most online stores will replace the item at no additional cost. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on View Details and download the image of the damaged/incorrect item accepted by ShippingCart.
Step 2: Go to the online store where the item was purchased and look for the Returns and Replacement link (or contact their customer service).
Step 3: Request for a RMA. The ShippingCart team needs this document to ship the damaged/incorrect item back to the merchant.
Step 4: Once you have the RMA, send it via email to customercare@shippingcart.com. Please include the following information in your email. You can also submit a return request via the app directly.
- RMA for the item or package to be returned
- Specific item to be returned (if not the whole package)
- Your ShippingCart email and/or account number
Step 5: Wait for a Customer Care representative to email you with further instructions.
If you requested for a replacement from a merchant, ShippingCart will also notify you once the replacement has been received.
