SC Marketplace Terms of Service
This SC Marketplace Terms of Service shall supplement the ShippingCart Terms and Conditions.
You may place an order on SC Marketplace and the total cost during checkout already includes the item cost, transaction fee, and international shipping fee to the Philippines. After You place the order and our warehouse receives it, Your order will be packed and shipped to the delivery address You provided. You acknowledge that Your use of SC Marketplace is governed by these Terms of Service and the Terms and Conditions of ShippingCart. By placing an SC Marketplace order, You are agreeing to be bound by the Terms of Service set forth below.
Section 1: SC Marketplace Orders
To place an SC Marketplace order, You must first complete registration on the ShippingCart app. Upon completing checkout of Your SC Marketplace order, You warrant that the information provided therein is accurate and complete.
You understand that it is Your sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the item/s ordered on SC Marketplace. ShippingCart will not be liable to You or any other party for any loss, damage, costs, or purchase of Products arising from any information (including incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information) provided by You during SC Marketplace checkout.
We reserve the right to refuse Your SC Marketplace order in the following instances:
1. You fail to supply complete information on SC Marketplace checkout.
2. You fail to provide documents to confirm your identity and payment details.
3. The order contains a prohibited item that we cannot ship or otherwise constitutes an Unacceptable Shipment under the ShippingCart Terms and Conditions.
When an order is refused for whatever reason, ShippingCart Customer Care will reach out via email to inform You.
An SC Marketplace order cannot be changed or cancelled for any reason once you complete checkout. By placing an order, you are deemed to have accepted our Terms of Service and you assume full responsibility for the product, shipping, and service fee associated with the orders You place.
If we receive a chargeback notification regarding Your payment made, Your account will be permanently suspended and the items purchased will be disposed of or sold by us without incurring any liability whatsoever to You or any other party. ShippingCart will not approve any disputes submitted regarding Your SC Marketplace order.
If ShippingCart, in its sole discretion, deems that items purchased is a result of fraudulent activity or related to a restricted or prohibited business, or linked to any illegal activity under applicable laws, ShippingCart reserves the right to take any action that it may deem necessary under the circumstances without further notice to You or any other party, including but not limited to, suspending Your account, marking the item as restricted to prohibit send out, and reporting such activity to the source and/or local authority or governing body in which You reside in.
Section 2: SC Marketplace Fees
Local Shipping Fees
Customers shall be responsible for local shipping or delivery fees if such fees are charged by the merchant. SC Marketplace will pass through these charges directly to the customer without markup and is itemized during checkout.
International Shipping Fee
A flat fee starting at $7 per item will be charged for international shipping from the United States to the Philippines, and a flat fee starting at $12 per item will be charged for international shipping from Australia to the Philippines.
This fee is all-inclusive, covering customs duties, taxes, and door-to-door delivery to the specified address in the Philippines.
No additional hidden charges will be applied for customs clearance or delivery.
Weight Based Adjustments
US Shipments
The $7 international shipping fee applies only to items weighing up to 2 pounds.
For items weighing more than 2 pounds, the shipping fee will be computed as:
$7 + (total item weight × $2.50)
AU Shipments
International shipping fees for items from Australia will be computed as:
$12 + (total item weight × $4.50)
This weight-based adjustment applies to multiple quantity checkouts for both US and AU shipments.
Customers will be notified of the adjusted shipping fee at checkout before confirming payment.
SC Protect
The current shipping fee includes basic item protection, subject to the following limitations of liability:
1. Damage Protection: Coverage of up to $100 for items damaged during transit.
2. International Returns: Coverage of up to ₱5,000 for eligible international return claims.
3. Loss Protection: 100% reimbursement for items lost in transit.
Section 3: Claim, Returns, Refunds
For SC Marketplace orders, refunds may be issued if any item is out of stock, including cases where the entire order cannot be fulfilled. ShippingCart Customer Care will notify You via email, and the refund will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout.
We are not responsible for any and all defects in the Products unless the same have been caused due to our direct acts or omissions.
For eligible international return claims, you will be required to submit a valid receipt clearly showing the cost incurred for shipping the item back to our originating warehouse. This documentation is necessary to assess and process your claim. Once reviewed and approved, reimbursement of international return shipping costs may be provided for qualified cases, with coverage of up to ₱5,000.
All claims for Your SC Marketplace order made against Us shall be filed within fifteen (15) days after the delivery date of the package. The claim request should be sent to the ShippingCart Customer Care team via email (customercare@shippingcart.com). You agree to waive any and all claims against Us arising from any of the coverage to Your SC Marketplace order after this period.
All claims for SC Marketplace orders will undergo investigation and assessment of the ShippingCart Customer Care team.
Providing false information, or attempting to defraud ShippingCart, may result in the denial of Your claim request, potential legal action, and/or termination of Your ShippingCart account.
Section 4: Limitation of Liability
You understand and acknowledge that the quality of the Products purchased from SC Marketplace and the accuracy of the claims regarding such Products are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer and/or distributor of the Products. We do not warrant, represent or guarantee the quality of the Products or that the claims made by the manufacturer and/or distributor are accurate. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, We disclaim all warranties (whether express or implied) including but not limited to, that the Products are merchantable, will meet Your function and/or requirements or be fit for a particular purpose. We shall not be responsible for any loss or injury or damage incurred as a result of your use of the Products, or the failure of the Products to conform with any warranties made by the merchant, if any.
Section 5: General
We reserve the right to amend, delete, or add to these Terms of Service from time to time without giving notice and with immediate effect. Your continued use of SC Marketplace shall signify your acceptance of the Terms of Service as amended.
We reserve the right to modify or terminate SC Marketplace for any reason, without notice at any time.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We further reserve the right to modify the fees we charge for SC Marketplace. You shall be notified in case we implement any changes to the fees.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with an SC Marketplace order shall be resolved in accordance with the ShippingCart Terms and Conditions.
